Zena Ely-Séide is an olive oil producer and a professional oleologist certified by the University of Montpellier and the French Olive Association (AFIDOL). Her focus as an olive taster is to promote oleiculture. As a producer, her passion rests in pioneering the optimisation of phenolic antioxidants in her Ely Séide line of products.
One of her latest ventures is an innovative product development project that examines diverse cooking cultures. It is also focused on pairing olive oil in unique ways that introduce previously unfamiliar audiences to the wonderful world of olive oil.
With her family groves based in Tunisia, she is fervent advocate of an eco-friendly, bio-dynamic approach to oil production. At the same time, she promotes a more holistic approach to considering the traditional olive grove; focusing not only on the oil, but also creating the mechanisms that ensure positive environmental and social impacts around the orchards.
