Andrea Calsamiglia
Biography
PhD on Social Psychology. Expert in gender studies and group facilitation. She has experience as facilitator and trainer in gender, social theatre and social psychology. She has participated in the Agroecological movement in Catalonia, and especially in the organic food consumer’s cooperatives and their networking and relationship with the producers (www.repera.wordpress.org). She has been active in the former Degrowth Network in Catalonia, and collaborator in Research and Degrowth (www.degrowth.org). She is cofounder and project manager in Nus Teatre i Acció Social (www.nusteatre.org), working on the intersection among theatre and social change, and also teacher on Social Psychology in the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and coordinator of a training programme on collective entrepreneurship for transformative projects (www.estarter.cat). She is part of the IIFAC-E (Institute of Facilitation in Spain www.facilitacion.org) and the Catalan Social and Solidarity Economy Network.
She is collaborating in SwitchMed as an expert in the Civil Society Team, promoting and giving support to Grassroots Initiatives linked to Sustainable Production and Consumption.
