Biography
Eli is the founder of Capacity-Building Resource Exchange (www.caprese.org). He is also its Director of Business Development drawing on an eclectic career spanning communications, systems engineering, and management consulting in the UK, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Algeria, Mauritius, Rwanda, South Africa and Indonesia.
Eli is currently contributing to the SwitchMed program to support 8 Mediterranean countries to scale up the current demonstration component based on UNIDO’s TEST methodology moving towards a fully mainstreamed sustainable production approach throughout the region.
Since 2014, Eli has run programs in Rwanda and Algeria focusing on capacity building in resource efficient practices within Small and Medium Enterprises through local services providers.
Since 1999, Eli has focused on management tools that embrace change and complexity as sources of emergent innovation. He is especially interested in facilitating effective strategy implementation driven by powerful visioning, development of mutual appreciation, sense of ownership, and consensus.
Clients include Honeywell, Swisscom, IMD, PWC, UNDP, and GIZ. Eli contributes to Masters programs in various Swiss academic institutions: EPFL (Business Modelling), USI (Corporate Communications) and BSL (Knowledge Management) and is an active member of professional associations in representing Resource Efficiency Consulting (www.PREMAnet.net), Project Management (www.project-management.ch) and LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Facilitation (www.seriousplaypro.com).
