Biography
Juliana Mutis, General Director of Minka-dev. MMinka-Dev is the first online marketplace of business opportunities with high social-environmental impact. It connects social and environmental needs with innovative, inclusive and sustainable business solutions, thus promoting equal access to opportunities and favoring the creation of economic development ecosystems that are comprehensive, inclusive and sustainable.
Juliana has researched, developed methodologies, assessed and advised for more than 12 years, several businesses in low income markets in Colombia, India, Uganda, Brazil, México and Chile among others, facilitating the promotion of new business ventures, partnerships, business models design and contributing to an increase in more sustainable businesses.
Has worked for International organizations, association of companies, private sector and governments in sectors such as energy, water, microfinance, ICT, housing, recycling and agriculture. This experience has provided her with knowledge that has practical utility to identify practices, design policies, projects, partnerships and strategies for more sustainable business in highly vulnerable environments where innovative approach and comprehensive solutions is the key for success.
